Cheep, cheep!

We are enjoying little Peep (we don't have an official name yet, due to the fact that its gender is yet unknown).  And learning all about chickens in the process! :)

We doubt Your goodness, we doubt Your love, as if every promise from Your Word is not enough..."

Another Southern Baptist Christian Leader Falls prey to the Doctrines of Demons
By Ed Decker
Levy Baptist Church is associated with the Southern Baptist Convention, The Arkansas Baptist State Convention and The North Pulaski Baptist Association, where Pastor Tiner sits as Moderator, heading up its associational leadership. In his acceptance remarks following his Masonic ordination, Pastor Tiner proclaimed "I want to thank the Grand Chapter of Arkansas for the incredible privilege of serving as your Grand High Priest. I love Royal Arch Masonry with all of my heart. Therefore, to be honored to serve as your Grand High Priest is a joy beyond what I can ever express with words. I pray that the Great Architect of the Universe will bless this year as we work together for the advancement of the Craft."

David Barton Approves of Sharia Law in America and Misleads Jon Stewart?
By Christian Pinto
Perhaps most shocking is that at one point in the interview, David Barton actually defended the practice of Sharia Law in America, giving the impression that its practice would be a Constitutional right, if a majority of Muslims voted for it in a particular community.

Leith Anderson "Fiddles"(with Marxists)While The Church Burns
By Eric Barger
Notice the name, Jim Wallis, in this partial listing of signatories above. Wallis was a committed Marxist in the 1960's, saying the happiest day of his life was when America "lost" the war in Viet Nam. Of course, a résumé like his makes one a candidate to become one of President Obama's spiritual advisers. I think I'd rather have Miss Cleo read my palm than take advice from Jim Wallis! Seriously, for Reverend Anderson to be in cahoots with individuals like Wallis is particularly disturbing. One can presume that nothing has changed in Wallis' worldview since the '60's except that now we have the highest leader in evangelicalism yoking with this blatant socialist.

Worldview Weekend Radio with Brannon Howse
Brannon Howse interviews Erick Stakelbeck, author of “Terrorist Next Door”. Erick reveals how terrorists are training in the heartland of America and how they have even infiltrated the south with their mosques. There are currently over 2,000 mosques in America and many of them are teaching jihad. Many FBI agents and other intelligence community officers are greatly disturbed by what their bosses are ignoring. Erick says the terrorists are changing their tactics and are now planning smaller scale attacks to terrorize the average American. White Americans, including women, are being recruited into radical Islam as terrorists. What about Christian leaders like Richard Land of the SBC and Rick Warren that think they can dialogue with the leaders of Islam? Erick pulls no punches in this interview on his just released book.

Worldview Weekend Radio with Brannon Howse
Brannon’s guest is Jimmy DeYoung. This is one of the best programs we have ever had. The wealth of information on the Middle East, Israel, rebuilding the Temple in Jerusalem and the coming wars is overwhelming. Jimmy also explains why he believes John Hagee is a heretic and why he believes Glenn Beck is so dangerous to the real church. The volume of Scripture DeYoung quotes to make his points is in itself worth hearing.

Answering the Critics: An analysis of Proverbs 24:17-18 in the light of the death of Osama bin Laden
By Randy White
Since writing an article earlier this week on the Christian response to the death of Osama bin Laden, I have received several e-mails asking about Proverbs 24:17-18, "Do not rejoice when your enemy falls, And do not let your heart be glad when he stumbles; Or the Lord will see it and be displeased, And turn His anger away from him. " (Proverbs 24:17–18, NASB)

Marines Get Trained on Accepting Gay Recruits & Air Force Academy Opens Outdoor Chapel for Wiccans,
By John McTernan
I posted a lot of articles that all are very important to see the big picture of what is happening. The articles about the advancement of the sodomite agenda are especially important. This agenda is sweeping into the military with zero resistance from the church. What can I say about the state of the church that I have not already said many, many times?

Understanding The Times with Jan Markell
When is it Time to Leave a Church? Eric Barger guest hosts for Jan and updates the theme "Divorced From Church - When is it Time to Leave?" Today there are countless disenfranchised believers who have become refugees fleeing Emergent, Purpose Driven, Seeker, and liberal churches. The predicted apostasy warned of in Paul's letters is doubtlessly underway and the sheep are being scattered. Still the "remnant" spoken of in Scripture is alive and active! In this hour Eric talks with three brave ministers who have risked all to make stands for truth. You won't want to miss their powerful stories.

Jordan to Soon Sever ties with Israel!
By Bill Salhus
With Arab protests sweeping throughout the Middle East, many pundits are pondering the fate of Jordan. Will the Jordanian government collapse alongside Tunisia's, Yemen's, and Egypt's? Interestingly, Jordan can be found in end time's bible prophecy. If the prophecies centered on Jordan are about to find fulfillment, then the best days of the Hashemite Kingdom are behind it.

"Who ran to help me when I fell,
And would some pretty story tell,
Or kiss the place to make it well?
My mother."
Ann Taylor

"28 Her children rise up and call her blessed;
Her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “ Many daughters have done well,
But you excel them all.”
30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is passing,
But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands,
And let her own works praise her in the gates."
Proverbs 31:28-31

"Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs... since the payment is pure love."  ~Mildred B. Vermont

"12 “ Honor your father and your mother,
that your days may be long upon the land
which the LORD your God is giving you. "

Exodus 20:12

I am so blessed with my mother.  She is a gift from Above.  Her talents span so many topics, it boggles my mind to think of, how many things she is fluent in; I want to be like her when I grow up.
Happy Mother's Day to my one and only Mama!

I am not good!

As the daughter of a pastor, and a home educator, people assume that I am and always have been a good girl.

Sorry, but no.

There are some days when I am ashamed to tell anyone I am a Christian, not because I don't love Jesus, I do love Jesus!  It has more to do with the real me.

My "old man".  The one who struggles with honoring her parents, who speaks unkindly to her siblings, and is arrogant.  Yeah, that girl.  Oh how I hate her!

She is loathesome and by no means good.

I am not good plain and simple.  Even if I look from the outside like a self-assured, smart and modest (dress) Christian girl; I have sins to deal with every day.  There are moments when all I really want to do is scream at the world, to let everything pent up inside spill forth.

This is a request: please don't tell me I'm good.  Of my own accord I can do nothing good.  My "righteousness" was described by Jeremiah in graphic terms - like minstrel rags, filthy, bloody, abhorant.

Only because of Jesus can I do "good" or act in a correct manner.  Thank you Abba!

To quote John Newton: "I am a great sinner, but Christ is a great Savior!"
